DR. SHALINI BHAT

Dr. Bhat is a Chiropractor and double certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFMCP, CFMP) with over 10 years of experience in the wellness field. She is the founder of TMB, the designer of multiple virtual FUNC MED programs, and the creator of THE PERFECT FIIT (a signature workout) and TMB FIIX (a unique treatment method using fascial release, movement and acupuncture techniques).

Her signature approach to FUNC MED focuses largely on teaching. She distills complex information into relatable analogies that you can understand and activate meaningfully for your own body and lifestyle. Because when you understand WHY you’re doing something, long-lasting transformations are attainable.

Her down-to-earth nature was born from her own personal injuries and gut-health challenges that western medicine was unable to remediate. She’s felt traditional systems not working in her own body and understands first hand the frustration that comes with that.

In her private practice, her treatments and programs focus on providing patients with actionable road-maps to moving, feeling and looking their best using all her tools, from fascia and movement, to hormones and gut health. And since she truly lives the lifestyle she shares with her patients, you may end up with all sorts of extra personalized bio-hacks.

Dr. Bhat works with people who have been told they’re “normal” by their doctors, yet feel “off” (bloating, low energy etc.) She cuts through the noise and fads to bring you the most relevant, FUNC MED testing and scientific research for your body, your mind and your microbiome.

DR. SHELLEY PINARD

Dr. Shelley is driven by one simple idea: everyone can achieve greater health with the right tools, especially kids.

Passionate about TMB’s pediatric FUNC MED programs, she adores working directly with parents to help them and their little ones unlock healthy, vibrant futures! (And for her hardworking mamas, she provides our TMB FACE treatments for some pampering!)

When it comes to injuries, she loves playing detective and finding the root cause of her client’s pain and dysfunction. She addresses individuals as whole, unique systems and lives for the magic of our signature TMB FIIX treatments. 

Dr. Shelley practices what she preaches and is always striving to find innovative ways to upgrade her own daughter’s health. When she’s not nerding out on new research or working one on one with a client, you can find her in the studio doing Perfect FIIT or a silly dance to bring a smile to someone’s face.

{HEALTH COACH AND MAT PILATES INSTRUCTOR}

SARAH KIMBER

Sarah is a health coach and mat Pilates instructor. After working in the corporate world for three years and realizing it wasn’t the road for her, she joined forces with the team of holistic practitioners at TMB and has never looked back.

She’s passionate about teaching TMB workouts that bring the sizzle and help people connect with their own unique version of body positivity.

Coupled with her love for FUNC MED health coaching, she helps people improve their relationship to food, their health and their physicality. From hormone health, to bloating, nutrition or better sleep, she is here to help support you in any of TMB’s FUNC MED programs.

In her spare time, she disappears into culinary adventures in her kitchen, enjoys spending time outdoors in nature and has yet to meet a cheetah print she doesn’t like.

{CHIROPRACTIC INTERN AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT}

JULIA GRUNDY

Julia is an aspiring chiropractor and dedicated administrative assistant. Passionate about empowering people to overcome their physical and mental obstacles so they can be the best versions of themselves, she studied Kinesiology at Western University and abroad on the west coast of Australia.

She’s equally passionate about movement and helping people to feel connected to their bodies.

As organized as she is enthusiastic, Julia is one of the bright faces who will greet you whenever you visit or call TMB and is always happy to answer any questions you may have. 

In her spare time she loves spending time at the cottage, exploring the amazing restaurants in her beautiful city and spending time with friends and family.

{PILATES INTERN AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT}

KATIE BURNS

Katie is a multi-passionate wellness enthusiast with a background in business administration, culinary management and nutrition. Additionally, she loves helping people learn how to embrace movement through TMB’s signature Pilates style.

She’s experienced first hand how changing health habits and incorporating positive daily habits can transform your entire life. She believes that you become a happier person all around when multiple areas of your life are in alignment and thinks that everybody deserves to feel excited and happy to wake up and start their day.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking (always with music and a glass of wine), watching scary movies and doing anything in the sunshine. And when the sun isn’t around, she likes to curl up with a good book or two, as well as partake in regular meditations to keep herself centered and in alignment.
