1. What should I expect at my chiro appointment?
We don’t use adjustment based treatments aka we do not crack bones. We’re also not into quick fix solutions. Our unique chiropractic treatment method uses a combination of fascial release and gentle acupuncture to address the root cause of your pain/dysfunction.  Our practitioners will then recommend a personalized treatment plan for you.

2. I’m afraid of needles. Does acupuncture hurt?
Generally, acupuncture shouldn’t hurt. Our highly trained practitioners use top quality needles to ensure the most comfortable experience possible. To put it into perspective: A blackhead extraction hurts much more than needle insertion during our facial acupuncture sessions!

4. What is facial acupuncture and how does it work?
Facial acupuncture is an all-natural, anti-aging treatment (aka a natural alternative to Botox) designed to enhance your skin. Through boosting collagen production, circulation and hydration, it’s been shown to reduce fine lines/wrinkles, shrink pores, boost skin tone, and create an overall youthful appearance.

5. How often should I get facial acupuncture?
After a customized evaluation, our practitioners will recommend anywhere from 6-10 treatments fairly close together as a starting point, then monthly appointments, and then seasonal top ups like you would a regular facial. However, this frequency might vary depending on your own personal skin type/skin goals.

6. What’s the difference between fascial release and massage therapy?
Generally speaking, massage therapy tends to be a passive treatment for patients and as such, doesn’t always translate into lasting relief and recovery. Massage involves lying down passively while using soft tissue and muscles in the body to relieve stress/tension. Our skilled clinicians actively address our fascia in our WHOLE body to find the root cause pain. (Fascia the soft tissue “sling” that can pull bones, tissues, ligaments etc. out of alignment!).

7. I want to participate in a functional medicine program. How do I get started?
We have a few different program offerings and as such, offer FREE 15 minute consults (virtually!) to see which one might be the right fit and if we are the right team for you. But our 30 day FUNC MED Foundation modules can be booked online!

8. What is health coaching?
Health coaches work one on one and partner with their clients to help them adapt healthier, sustainable habits that will upgrade their own personal wellness.  The role of a health coach is to walk you through how to overcome the challenges your facing, motivate you, teach you actionables, hold you accountable and support you every step of the way.  Think of it this way: There are personal trainers who help support us with our fitness goals, right? Well, health coaches are like “trainers” for other areas of life like stress management, supplement routines, nutrition habits, and sleep patterns.

9. What is your philosophy on Pilates?
Our fitness philosophy
is based on slow, focused movements that are designed to tone, lengthen and strengthen the body in combination with safe, effective cardio bursts. Our workouts are injury-proof, modern, effective, and aimed at getting you moving, feeling and looking better. PLUS we use fun props like gliding discs, bands, and ankle weights to elevate your workout. Whatever your health and fitness goals are, we have something for you!

10. How many reformers do you have?
We have three reformers, so even our group classes are semi-private! The virtual version of our Reformer FIIT class, however, doesn’t require a reformer! We do reformer inspired moves, but on the mat in our virtual classes which are just as effective.

11. Do you offer any fitness programs?
Yes. Our popular Toning Butts program is offered online and helps to take all of the guesswork out of your workouts. Learn more here!

12. Can I use my benefits for your treatments?
This depends on your own insurance policy. We do not do direct billing, but most of our treatments are billed as chiropractic visits. Your visits cannot be billed as acupuncture visits, however if you have “paramedical” in addition to your chiropractic insurance, you would be able to use that.

13. What is The Perfect FIIT class?
A Dr. Bhat designed full-body workout! This small circuit class is everything you’d want in a workout; Some zen, some heart pumping cardio, lengthening and strengthening in all the right places (three dimensionally!), emphasis on proper alignment, fascial release on the foam roller AND a fun playlist to boot!  If Pilates could be on steroids, this is what it would be like.

14.  I still have questions…
Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions that you have! We’d be happy to help!
